The Role of Tax Money in Royal Weddings
In the US it's traditionally considered that the bride's family has to pay for the wedding. Traditionally brides of princes have historically been from incredibly wealthy aristocratic families themselves so it's not like you know he's not like marrying a Cinderella right? Kate and Megan both had to borrow bridal tiara's from the queen but does tax money ever go to fund royal weddings? The only technically publicly funded element of these weddings was security in 2018.
