The Battle of Marathon O'Macoy
Miltiades' reputation and power was at its highest in Athens due to his services rendered against the Persians. The famous Greek playwright and brother of Kainageros, Eschylus, who also fought in this battle, decided that fighting in this battle was the only accomplishment in his life worth mentioning on his epitaph. He makes no mention of his stupendous achievements as a tragic dramatist, but only speaks of his service in his battle for the freedom of Athens.
