The Value of Preparation

I always come on set with an idea, but I'm not attached to it in any sense. It's just as a talking point with a director and I might come on the set and director's got a different idea. And then we might find a third idea that is not what either of us expected or an actor might come up with something. We do this, which is very much how we work with Danny, actually, isn't it? Yeah, and I do think that the value of prep and everything is to not only figure out how you're going to shoot it or what locations, but also to really know the scenes.
