The Importance of Being Safe in Mexico
Three Americans went into the border town of Matamoros for plastic surgery. They ended up getting kidnapped, two of them got killed at a cartel checkpoint. The actions that these people took that got them to that point should have never crossed the border to begin with in that area. That's what makes you safe here in Mexico. It has nothing to do with the cartels. You can travel down the most dangerous highway here in Mexico and be completely safe. But it's because of your actions that make you safe.
