Ilet: The Bionic Pankaras
Bionic Pankaras is a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne. He and his wife, Fieras Alcatib, are developing an insulin delivery system for people with type one diabetes. The device uses smart software that determines how much insulin to deliver based on data from a continuous glucose monitor. It was originally called Ilet but has since been renamed Bionic Beta.
