The Challenges of Nuclear Fusion

I think my lifetime and my kids' lifetime may be the last chance for us to even have a grid to operate it on. I totally believe that it's feasible to make it happen at some point. Some day we'll have the technology to do it. But when you tell me that it's my great, great grandchildren, that will be the ones to actually set it all into motion is just deflating. We need this problem solved yesterday. And by yesterday, I mean, decades ago.
