Glucagon and Hypotension in the ED
Glucagon is an interesting subject if you go reading around the evidence for glucagon. In australia they rarely use it as there isn't any high quality evidence to support its use. There will be many departments in this country that do not have enough to give the initial loading dose let alone the follow-up dose so i would ask you to go and check your departmental fridge and work out whether you have enough for a 70 kilogram patient.
