The Core Advantages of a Graph Database Like Neo4j
The core advantages of a graph database like Neo4j is the property graph data model. It's important to note that relationships are a first class citizen of the data model and how we store and query them in the database. We use a query language called cipher to work with Neo4j if you're familiar with relational databases where you're using SQL, but for graphs and cipher is all about pattern matching. So then it's up to the database to figure out how to identify how to work with that graph pattern.
