Research shows that learning your early school subjects can lead to better, better educational outcomes. And it's not about national pride so much as it's about kind of functioning of the nation by having people who are well educated in these other subjects. But you have to pour in extra resources to figure out how to get teachers of each of those languages fluent and being able to communicate kind of academic skills in a home language.
