The Failure of the FBI Scavenger Hunt
The FBI was still struggling to find any kind of motive. The whole thing had been set up like a robbery, but the method just didn't really make sense. Investigators ran the route of the scavenger hunt themselves and concluded that even with the extra time from solving the various puzzles, it would have been almost impossible for Brian to complete the puzzle without the bomb going off.
