Twitter's Recommendation Algorithm

Twitter has opened up its algorithm to the public. CNN's John Sutter says he doesn't think it will help Twitter, which already has a spam problem. Google is going to be very interesting to watch over the next eight years and can they turn around their fortunes? The search giant recently hired former Microsoft executive Eric Schmidt as CEO.
