Ouija Boards: A Doorway to the Hellmouth

The idea that Ouija boards are particularly dangerous is something that was popularized by the novel, The Exorcist. Prior to that point, there was no history of people play with Ouija boards and get possessed and do evil things. One reason is that Ouija board usually have nothing at all paranormal going on with them. It's either the idiomotor effect or kids deliberately pushing it so that it goes towards certain letters and spells out a message.
