The first victim in January of 1975 was Judith Osterling, who had moved to South Florida from Indiana. Do you think at this time period women in South Florida felt safe or were they taking any kind of precautions? I think probably that post Bundy era through the late 70s into the 1980s may have been a situation where women were being a lot more careful. The canals still remain a dumping ground for things that people want to get rid of,. either from bodies to vehicles that were stolen and insurance fraud. Weapons, yes. Animal sacrifice. Bones are found in there.
