Sergeant Peppers: A Musical Inspired by the Manchester Review
I would be cautious of saying unpleasant surprises. I think the main unpleasant surprise was the humidity that day. We picked four graduates who have spent a lot of time with the Manchester Review. And then we picked two first year students who more have only have just done straight acting. It was a culture shock for our two fresh faces, who hadn't necessarily experienced sketch comedy and waiting for people to laugh or not hearing laughs. The baby MP sketch is where we turn the current house of Parliament into babies. Which track off Sergeant Peppers has inspired that one?
