Apple Silicon Macs seem to have trouble with external USB mounted SSDs that are larger than two terabytes. This unfortunately includes the very popular OWC drive dock and other iterations of the Blackmagic and Brake Mount SATA dock among others. We haven't found any immediate solutions to this issue thus far, but we have had success with a variety of Nintendo level plasticy docs from StarTech that don't utilize this chipset.
