Is Brexit a Negative Effect on the Economy?
I think there is a profound growth weakness in our economy that's been going on for 15 years. We've had anemic growth, zero productivity, lowest business investment of the G7 for 15 years now. Big spending on infrastructure, capital spending or tax cuts and incentives for businesses to invest are all off the table. So we are going to start having a conversation in the country about what you might call cost-free growth. What are the things you can do to get growing if you haven't got any money which is going to bring back some really interesting issues? Immigration, planning reform. Right.
