There are seven diagnastic criteria for attism spectrum disorder. You will get people who manifest different patterns of how those seven criteria are met or not met. And this relates to mis diagnosis of other conditions for someone who's on the atism spectrum. For example, sleep disturbance is very common in the spectrum. What happens is you sometimes get separate diagnoses for each little piece of the whole pattern that makes up autism.
