The IIOT platform is the communications backbone for the industrial internet of things. It connects everything across an organization from my earliest CAE stuff at designer ideation all the way through my recycle at the end of the line when the consumer goes and dumps it into a recycle bin for recycling. That's the connectivity layer that IIOT backbone is not just communications. All the infrastructure, all the protocols, all the NQTT, any other kind of broker hub and spoke, hub and smoke, whatever is in between.
