Jillian: As adults we're still unconsciously walking around trying to please mommy and daddy when really if we can change that relationship in our minds with them as oh I don't actually have to do this for them anymore. She says parents act the way they do not also because they don't want you to make the same mistakes that they made growing up. The past can oftentimes repeat themselves like the parents sins like a sin to the father right will come down through to the kids, she adds.
