The Importance of Narcissa in Harry Potter
Molly's over mothering and over sheltering is entirely justified because they're in the middle of a war. You know, so it's like, yes, they have to throw it off. And we should give sending them to a school where they've just been deployed as child soldiers. It's like literally their kids. So like the characters, like the children have to throw off her sheltering, but at no point is she ever wrong to be doing it. We see narcissa and Bellatrix in that in that opening chapter where narcissa makes snape, make the unbreakable vow to protect Draco.
