The Problem of Bit Coin and the Oracle Problem
If bit coin really succeeded, separated money and state, that clearly this would reduce the scale of the state. So it seems like maybe we go back towards a more monarchical style model,. Yo, protect a physical city or space. And then, ah, perhaps citizens come into this monarchy, or citadel, as bitcorners like to call them. That pays some flat fee for certain services, and then the monarch basically owns all the property within these walls.
