Getting Better in Italian

i can communicate italian to some extent, but not as well as i would like. If i pick up a book like this, on every page, i can see five or six or so words that i don't know. So i'm not good enough in my reading. And if i weren't learning arabic and persian, then, just as with all the other languages, i would love to spend time to get better in italian.
