The Differences Between Microsoft and Linux Companies

If they started in the last five years, they probably started on something that was more of an open-source stack. They probably built their first web-ish thing, was probably active server pages and had SQL Server behind it. Those folks would probably tend to branch out by using some stack in the cloud or some stack that's customer-facing with a web-style application that would be Microsoft-based. And there's nothing wrong with that. It's just the beauty of... You could certainly scale that enough.
