Cody: Jessica, you have such an interesting background in that you've quite literally worked in war zones. You now are helping to try to prevent the natural ecosystems of California from essentially resembling war zones with wildfire work. I don't know if that's a fair analogy, but I'd love to hear more about your arc and what got you to the work you're doing today.Jessica: Well, I mean, I think these are comparable. The level of intensity of these fires feels very much like the level of intensity that the community was experiencing when I was in Baghdad. And so we've always been really drawn to trying to help communities work through crises.
