The Origins of Water in Great Zimbabwe
Researchers may have answered a lingering question about the ancient city of Great Zimbabwe. They found intentionally created depressions in the landscape, which are locally known as dachopits. These would have collected water during rainy seasons and stored it for later use. A collection of 57 letters from the National Library of France were recently decoded.
