My uncle used to travel out at night playing cards. He was mon collins fromea couple of people here knew him well, the harless maker, bill linnehan. On a track between mountcollins and brone he went into an ordinary field where you were not going to be able to get out. It made nosense because there was mon Collins below him. But nothing happened. And i asked him, did it frighten you? He said, it did - but there was nothing i could do about it. There are fields like that in every county in ireland. I know six of em here in clare.
