The Positive Impact of Being Pregnant
In 1966, Mary Kinsman got pregnant and married in a hurry. She was told by her high school principal that she couldn't return for her senior year because of the pregnancy. After giving birth to their first child, they were forced to move away from Washington Evening High School after dark. They moved to another part of Portland where it's daylight during the day but not at night. The couple had four daughters who no longer see each other or talk to me as if what I've done is contagious.
