The Effects of Alcohol Consumption on Weight and Body Fat

Light to moderate drinkers, approximately two or less drinks per day for men and one drink per day for women were about 20% less likely to die from any cause during the study period compared to non drinkers. On the other side a drastic increase in the risk of death from all causes in people who are heavy drinkers. The reduction of harmful or high consumption of alcohol remains necessary and essential.
