It is said that he stayed in Paris to preside over the decision making and the handling of the arts. They also confirmed that while they don't know the nature of his cancellation on the Titanic beyond that, it certainly wasn't as the conspiracy says last minute. It's interesting because there'd probably be some type of paper trail with that, right? And then in that sense, it's like, okay, so did you buy art as an excuse because then he knew that that he would have issues and that would be his alibi.
