How to Rotate Your Career
When does career rotation look good in your resume? Career rotation only looks good when it leads to career progression. When I see someone rotating from different sides of the business and they're showing no progression, it raises a lot of whining bells in my head. If you are rotating with every promotion, it means you weren't able to make the cut to go to the next level. Be very careful about trying to defend career rotation when it's career progression that is important to consulting firms.
