The Taliban's Restrictions on Women in Universities

There was some vague hope that Taliban 2.0 would be different, the sort of brutes who ran the country from 96 to 2001. People really thought maybe, you know, over the last 20 years, this country has changed so much. There's a whole generation of women with an education. They won't be able to do this again. But in recent months, it really turns out that the extremist mullahs in Kandahar, in the heartlands of the Taliban, are giving the orders.
