Introduction

Helene Adichrod: Diane Seuss decided to write a memoir. She grew up poor in rural Michigan, and she lost her father at the age of 7. But when she sat down to write the story of her life, she didn't go for the real estate you get in prose. Helene says there is beauty in these poems, so much beauty.
