The Story of Eli Itskevitz

Ely itskevitz was just ten years old when his family were murdered by a man he knew as stenesku. Stenesku had savagely beaten them all to death for no infraction or reason other than they were jewish. Terrified and now completely alone, elly was discovered by one of the few christian families who lived within the confines of the ghetto. They took eli into their home and hid him away. By the time of liberation, all but a few jews in bessarabia had been murdered or deported. Surviving against all odds, 13 year old eli iskevit walked out freely into the sunlight.
