i think it's important to speak out about human rights, but these types of fulminations have been the prelude and pretext for every misguided foreign intervention that we've had over the last 20 years. The discipline, though, is to be able to check ourselves before we get into these interventions. What the dictators and despots want you to do is to fight each other and not look at the human rights atrocities. If we engage with china and ar co dependent on each other a that will lead to a better arc for human rights and for humanity,. because our our economies are entangled and we do business together.
