The Battle of Ben-Exen
The next morning there was a truce. The surgeons and medical assistants of both armies worked side by side, bringing the wounded off the field for treatment. If the French had simply waited 24 hours, Ben-Exen would have been forced to abandon this position without a shot fired. However, Napoleon was not deterred. He would continue chasing Ben-exen. Despite this setback, the Emperor had the mobility and the numbers. But that story will have to wait for next episode.
