The Disinformation Project: A Decentralized Governance Approach
We've been testing it with students and people from civil society orgs and just people off the internet, I'm a mechanical Turk. We have an algorithm that looks for consensus in the aggregate to see like our people consistently seeing this the way that other people from the other side of the aisle are seeing it. And so we've we kind of break the task out so that they're pretty de-biased. Also each task is done by multiple people independently. And then we're looking, an algorithm that's looking for a consensus among them. It's very step wise and therefore kind of like extracts the user from their biases they might have about the entire article.
