The second brain is a way of externalizing thoughts and thinking so that you have something to reference later. It's expensive, but if you're unsure about building a second brain, the place to start is absolutely going to be to read this book first. To me it has to do with being able to find things quickly, like just raw facts that you've collected. And maybe the other side of that is being able to process your thoughts ahead of time.
