i want to talk more about free will but first on the weather. When you guys make predictions like there's a 70 percent chance of rain tomorrow what do you mean by that? Are you saying at some level it'll never be 100 percent predictable because of chaos theory and things like that, i ask Lorentz. We run an ensemble of say a hundred forecasts and in 70 of them it rains and in 30 it doesn't so that gives us our probability. But as models improve we can include cloud systems for example which current global models can't describe. Then then the the forecast will get more accuracy more accurate than today.
