Is There a Service That Will Identify Parts of Heap Memory That Are No Longer in Use?
Every once in a while, the system is starting to run low on memory. The garbage collector will automatically start up as part of the jobscript engine that's running inside your trouser or inside node. And then it will actually try to identify portions of heap memory that are no longer in use. So this is why this alcoretm is called markind sweep.
