The Problem Is That There Is No Perfect Method of Collecting Votes
There is no perfect method that will satisfy everyone to a sufficient degree. Republicans and Democrats are so clearly 50 50 proposition at this point, they're handing control to the opposite party. You'll see people complaining about it from the halls of Congress in the whatnot, but when pressed to go do something about it, they will turn their backs to you as is so often the case.
