Close your eyes for a moment and try to think of the situation I was just touching on here. For those of you who are therapists,I want you to bring to mind to time recently that you were struggling to help your patients feel better. Try to read through these four statements with as much anger, hostility and criticism in your inner voice tone. How helpful did you find these thoughts as a way of helping you with this difficulty?
