The Difference Between the Sequencer and the Validator in an Arbitrage Chain
There's this concern that the sequencers of all or most layer two are centralized, controlled by a few parties. So I think users often confuse the role of the sequencer and a different party in the chain called the validator. In arbitrage ecosystem, there's both, there's a validators and there's the sequencer. There's already a new protocol that is currently just about ready to be submitted for audit. It will be proposed to use DAO in DAO-based rollup systems like PGP GPUS. The goal is to open it up to everyone so what's holding that up? This was published previously but we're still working on getting people involved.
