What Are the Winter Bugs and How Do You Get Rid of Them?
The winter bugs are a mixture of either bacteria or viruses. Even if you got one every year, you'd still be susceptible to some of the mother out there,. even if you lived to be a hundred. Professor Wendy Barkley is a virologist from Imperial College London whose studies include the flu. The ones that most people know about are flu, influenza because there's actually something you can do about that, you can get a vaccine. For many of the others, we just don't have a vaccine available, particularly for the things which cause what's known as the common cold - rhino virus.
