The Politics of University Elite Overproduction
Miriam Kate suggested in the Telegraph that a university elite overproduction has shifted to the UK to the left. I think this has parled to conserve the problem which is that universities used to be part of the elite, unmistakably. Remember, there was a time when less than 5% of the population actually went to university and you treated them as expensive finishing school for private schools. A lot of research shows education makes people more left-wing. It's an interesting thing on accents, or we did a bunker about it, ages ago and apparently it shows empathy if you change your accent to other people. It's a sort of way of fitting in with everyone else.
