The Newcomb Problem in Philosophy

I wonder whether your views about backward causation have any other applications in philosophy or is it just about the relationship between special relativity and quantum mechanics. Well, as I'm sure you know, philosophers are always interested in things from a purely theoretical viewpoint. So we're not always looking for applications but within the philosophical literature I think there is a connection here to something that philosophers have been discussing a lot over the last 30 years or so.
