Abraham's Circumcision Was a Seal of the Faith, Right?

Abraham's circumcision made him a Jew because when he was a Gentile, he believed. He received circumcision not as a means of righteousness with God, but as a seal of the faith he already had. As I say, it was believers' circumcision. So Abraham became a Jew formally, and he was one, in a sense, substantially according to the apostle Paul,. But outwardly, formally he became one when he was circumcised.
