Globalization Has Transformed the World in Different Ways
globalization has transformed the world, but it's transformed the world in different ways in different places. What sort of transformation has happened in the developing world? A with this latest round of globalization? Ok, so there'ree a number of countries which until 19 80 were effectively isolated from the world economy. Now china and vianam are perhaps the most dramatic examples because they had a deliberate strategy of of integrating their economies into the world trading system. But there other countries as well, such as india, which have significantly reduced their trade barriers. Still pretty protectionists in many ways, but they've reduced their trade barrier and participated in the process of globalization and benefited from it.
