The Second Person Perspective in Complex System Science

This is the first time I have ever seen the second person perspective explicitly mentioned in a peer reviewed science paper. It strikes me that one of the things, you know, it's kind of defining characteristic of complex system science. This seems to be a recognition of something that is irreducible and inescapable about knowledge and about learning and discovery. And yet we've somehow neglected this.
