I think that's something what people come back to all games a lot. They are amazed by how difficult they are. So like the appearances can be deceiving, you know, with girls games and things like that. The adults you meet that still play Pokemon, they're me and my brother and they're all so... And the overwhelming, it's a lot of queer people. I find that really beautiful. That leaving home fantasy and that freedom, I keep going back to freedom because that's the... Freedom.
Gaming used to be for everybody, like Lego. But somewhere around the early noughties gaming became extremely gendered, with first person war shooters dominating mainstream gaming and “girl” games arrived.
