The Importance of Being on Call for ML Engineering

I'm curious if there was sort of this inflection point, or do you think this is just gradual in the more experience you know the better you are at this? I will say when you're on call for ML pipelines, it really changes how you view pipelines. It forces you to deal with the fact that if your model needs to be really used, then you really need to make it work properly. Yeah, I learned so much from just being on call.
